About Us
Pineapple Express was established initially as a fat bike rental and tour company (Pineapple Express Adventure Rides) based on the Southern Oregon Coast since 2017. After a few years the community need for a bicycle repair and sales shop, inspired us to open our brick-and-mortar bike shop in the heart of downtown Port Orford, our home town, in 2019. Although we no longer offer tours or shuttle services, we do have an endless amount of knowledge about local riding on roads, gravel, sand and dirt.

We have also expanded our shop to not only offer bicycle repairs, but also a wide variety of bicycle accessories, disc golf, pickle ball, surf accessories, sunglasses, roller skates, skateboards, camping sundries, and beach items like kites, towels, hats, sunscreens and more!
Our owner and mechanic, Erin, has been working in the bicycle industry for over a decade. She has been riding bikes all her life, competing in bike races of various styles from endurance to enduro, and is very knowledgeable about the world of bicycles. Her range of mechanical skills is vast, so stop in and let us get you rolling again. She is a NICA certified mountain bike coach and has been leading on the bike skills for riders of all ages and abilities since 2010. She is also an avid disc golfer, water-woman, and outdoor enthusiast!
Meet the Owner
A note from the bike repair shop: Being one of the only bike shop available between Eureka, California and Bandon, OR we stay very busy with bicycle repairs. During summer and spring riding season (and really any time the weather is sunny) expect to wait up to a week for professionally completed repairs. Our small storefront can only handle so many bikes at a time. We always recommend calling to book an appointment during the busy season if you are on a “time-crunch.” We do our best to turn around bikes as quickly and professionally as possible. Also please be aware that due to the nature of supply chain shortages, parts are in tight-supply/high demand and customers may need to wait longer for available repair parts. We will give you a free estimate of costs and wait times upon repair check-in.
Pineapple Express is a non-technical term for a meteorological phenomenon of strong & persistent flow of atmospheric moisture and associated with heavy precipitation from the mid-latitude pacific waters. A Pineapple Express is basically an atmospheric river of rain… read: it rains a lot here.
